This is not our first blog. For the last x amount of years we've been banging out postings on a livejournal. Yes, that little place where we cry woe is moi? Sometime around 12/31 and 1/1 we decided it was time for a change. A more grown up approach to this thing called blogging.

And ok everyone and their granmother has one these days. What sets mine apart from everyone else? Not a whole lot. I'll post that random image or link I just can't wait to share with as many people as I can tell at once. Or not.

Here's to first introductions:

The time I started a new job and realised the reason I wanted to bag groceries was to meet the really hot manager guy (he got fired that same day).

The time I tried to drive stick and realised I didn't put the truck in drive.

The guy I thought was really annoying who later became a SO for a summer and a half.

Moving to CA only to realise I was not going to see Simon Le Bon on the corner of Sunset singing some Duran Duran tune.

Leaving Texas with a box of cd's and wishing I was still in my old bedroom.

Going to college with a suitcase and wishing it was over.

Graduating from college and thinking: what's next.
