look we remembered!

I'm actually not posting here very often (as you've noticed). I'm like every other person now and can be followed here and here. The tumblr is public but for reasons of hating constant people adding me via twitter (those posts are private - I mean do you really want to read about my constant love/hate relationship with LA and walking to work?). I still have my little woe is me place over at livejournal...even with a name change back in 2002 - it's still just as shallow and hilarious.

And Rocco will be 4 in October...funny how he was still a little puppy when I started posting here...for those not following the LJ - Rocco has two more chihuahua friends (Bella and Freddie). He adores them...no really he does...he has a hard time showing it though...

I will continue to keep my blogger alive and kicking because well...someone is still reading as I've noticed the number count is higher...thanks invisible readers!

we promise to update more with all the wonderful things that have occurred since last year. I saw a few shows, rarely traveled, and shopped until my shoes fell off. I voted earlier in the week. I promised to travel more and eat lots more chocolate.

oh right...

I didn't forget about this at all...honest.

It's funny how busy you can get to the point that you remember that this place exists. I had told a friend that I would stop blogging forever. I know forever is a big word and when it comes to me - forever is a week or two.

I've finally found a job that actually pays and though it isn't what I would expect to be doing - it allows me to have this whole other down time to devote to working with Sterling as well as spending more time with volunteering at this literacy project that I've been wanting to be apart of for ages.

Rocco celebrated his first birthday over Halloween weekend - it's funny that I was all over the puppy turning a year. He was totally not aware of it but you can see that he's gotten a little older. He has little tricks that he does and starts to make talking sounds when you talk to him. He's just the best.

Oh and I totally saw Gang of Four at the Avalon mid October which was awesome. I love those guys ever since finding them at Coachella. Also the opening band - Morningwood was pretty darn good with a lead singer that looked like the healthy version of Ashlee Simpson.

I also have acquired a new friend, Sean. We have hung out every night since he showed up from Vegas. We actually did a weekend in Vegas - which was totally great. I think he is possibly the best thing to have happened to me in ages. I've been working on his site. So far he's done most of the work but I swear I suck at flash and am learning...

As I type this Rocco has managed to squeeze onto my lap next to the ibook and fallen asleep - his little nose resting on my arm. It's perfect, I think this time last year I would never have thought I would have a puppy again after losing Teddy - Rocco was given to me by my mom by way of his parents from Downey the second week of December - a total surprise.

6:10pm Star interviews Camryn Manheim - they look like two pigs in a blanket. (Camryn is telling a story and Star is acting interested - cause I'm Star Jones Reynolds and I'm a Media Personality - it's all about me!)

6:12pm (flashback to Jen Garner sans Affleck Fetus)

Break Time! We'll just play the blind date episode with Seb as Baguette Boy where he wears tight t-shirts and looks 14 yrs old...Oh Nip/Tuck promos - hey does Famke beat up Michael Jackson's long lost son?

6:15pm Alyson Hannigan arrives with her scary Sex Hair. We really didn't listen to James Denton's interview because Star's Velour Purple Nightmare hypnotised us.
